About
Area of research interest is value addition to agricultural by-products contributing towards circular economy. I have experience and knowledge to optimize different processing techniques for agricultural by-products (Agricultural residues) viz., chickpea husk, mung bean husk, rice bran, wheat bran, orange peel, banana peel as novel food sources. Currently working on Para probiotic, prebiotic-probiotic food processing and comparative study on their role on food matrix, Essential oil extraction from fruit peels at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (India). I also worked as Reviewer in many reputed journals [Food Chemistry (Elsevier), Open Life Science, Frontiers in Food Science and Technology (Section Food Packaging and Preservation), Food and Bioprocess Technology (Springer), Nutrire (Springer)]. I have several publications (17) as reputed journals and granted patents (4).
