Zacharoula has graduated from the Department of Food Science and Technology of the University of West Attica. She works at Agroknow as a data curator related to food safety. In 2021 she received a scholarship from IFST as an Early Career Food Safety Specialist. She has been involved in chemical analysis and sensory testing of olive oils, for which she has attended the Olive Oil Tasting Seminar from the Tasting Laboratory of the Department of Agriculture Kalamata. Sustainability of food systems, food quality and safety, food tasting, and food waste are some of the issues she is interested in.
