About

I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. (Honours) Degree in Applied Sciences, specializing in Plant Biotechnology, at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in plant tissue culture, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. As a research intern at the Rice Research and Development Institute, Sri Lanka, I am focusing on crop improvement and developing innovative agricultural solutions to address global farming challenges.
