Soumodip Atanu Roy is the Founder and Managing Director of Mul Biotech Farms Pvt. Ltd., an agri-biotech company he established in 2019 that designs, builds, and commissions field-validated farming systems across India. His work sits at the intersection of biotechnology, regenerative agriculture, aquaculture, agroforestry, and environmental intelligence, spanning turnkey mushroom and controlled-environment systems, aquaponics and hydroponics infrastructure, high-value plantation models, and carbon and digital MRV frameworks with GIS monitoring. Through Mul Biotech Farms and the affiliated SequestraBionix Foundation, he has trained more than 400 farmers across East and North-East India, contributed to district-level frameworks in Kalimpong, South Dinajpur, and Murshidabad, and served as External Curriculum Validator for the "Aquaponics Operation Assistant" qualification under the Government of West Bengal's skill development framework.
