My name is Nelson Enemakwu John, a final-year agriculture student at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, originally from Kogi State, Nigeria. Though I initially aspired to study pharmacy, being offered agriculture unexpectedly changed my life. I’ve come to see agriculture not just as a profession but as a powerful tool to drive global change—by feeding nations, promoting sustainability, and addressing climate challenges. In 2022, I founded Neso Farms, focused on resilient and sustainable farming practices. Beyond this, I’m passionate about leadership, mental health, and climate advocacy. These interests have led me to represent youth at global forums like the 2024 UN FAO World Food Forum and collaborate with organizations such as ENACTUS and AGRITECH Digest. I’m also an avid reader and writer, constantly seeking knowledge and new ideas. I believe in the transformative power of agriculture and welcome opportunities to connect, collaborate, and innovate for a better, sustainable future.
