Mariam D. Ademola is a Research Officer at the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) in Ibadan, where her work focuses on cashew farming systems and their integration with livestock production. Her research covers cashew varieties and agronomy, the use of cashew by-products such as the cashew apple as livestock feed, and the role of cashew farming in climate change adaptation and mitigation across West Africa. Through her work at CRIN, she contributes to research that supports smallholder farmers and strengthens Nigeria's position as one of Africa's leading cashew producers.
