Josipa is a food professional specializing in alternative proteins and plant-based foods. She earned her BSc in Food Technology and MSc in Food Engineering from the University of Mostar. Josipa has developed her expertise through academic and professional experiences across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, and Greece. Her career spans new product development, quality analysis and project management in funded initiatives and commercial products. She has volunteered for 4 years in student NGOs as a project coordinator, a job-raising coordinator, and on projects inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Currently, Josipa focuses on advancing proteins derived from microbial fermentation. Her responsibilities include product roadmap development, R&D technical support, and ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.
