Charitha earned her Honours degree in Food Science and Technology and an MPhil in Food Science from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Her research focuses on investigating plant bioactive compounds, their bioavailability, and food toxicology using in vitro digestion models and advanced mass spectrometric analysis. Passionate about fostering a healthier and more sustainable food industry, she is committed to advancing research in Food Science to address global challenges and promote innovation.
