Thiong’o is a seasoned expert in Regenerative Agriculture with over nine years of experience in providing practical guidance and consultative services for the design and implementation of Regenerative Agriculture projects both locally and regionally. He has successfully consulted for and implemented projects with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs), Social Enterprises, Schools, Children and Women Rescue Centres, Religious Institutions, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Self-Help Groups, private farms, and smallholder farmers across 40 counties in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Thiong’o assists clients in establishing Regenerative Agriculture projects by applying agroecological design principles and practices, ensuring food security, financial sustainability, and the stability of ecosystems by utilizing locally available resources. He holds a BSc. in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University, a Permaculture Design Certificate from Laikipia Permaculture Centre, and has been trained as a Community Inclusion Currency Trainer by Grassroots Economics Foundation. Additionally, he has earned a Project Cycle Management Certificate from Strathmore University. Thiong’o resides on his regenerative agriculture model farm in Laikipia, Kenya.
