STEP UP is a Horizon Europe project (2024–2027) working to make livestock production in Europe more sustainable. Bringing together 16 partners from 10 countries, the project evaluates Innovative Livestock Production Systems (ILPS) that use technology to support better decision-making on farms. These innovative systems help increase efficiency, reduce environmental impacts, and improve animal welfare. The knowledge gained is then used to strengthen and modernise traditional European Livestock Production Systems (ELPS).
