Shahwan Ali is Country Manager at DAI, where he provides strategic leadership and execution for PepsiCo's regenerative agriculture agenda in India, focusing on soil health, water efficiency, climate resilience, and the scaling of pilot innovations. With over 11 years of experience across corporates, donors, governments, and NGOs, he previously led the $20 million USAID–PepsiCo Global Development Alliance in India, which strengthened inclusive agricultural supply chains and reached more than 4,500 farmers through Gender Smart Farms, women-operated soil testing labs, and regenerative practices across 800+ acres. His earlier work spans rural livelihoods programs, the scaling of SHGs and FPOs, and the implementation of India's national nutrition mission at district level, with a consistent focus on measurable outcomes and on-ground impact for farmers.
