Nikolaos Palaioroutis is a young agronomist with an Integrated Master's degree (iMSc) in Agricultural Science from the University of Thessaly, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Agriculture at the International Hellenic University. During his undergraduate studies, he focused on plant physiology, while his current postgraduate research explores soil microbial communities in soilless cultivations. Currently, he works on the implementation of EU-funded projects in the bioeconomy sector. Since May 2025, he has been a certified agricultural advisor by the Hellenic Agricultural Organization DIMITRA (ELGO). In addition, he serves as a member of the Youth Municipal Council of Lamia, where he is responsible for environmental issues, urban greenery, and smart city technologies. Coming from a farming family, he is passionate about communicating scientific knowledge and integrating it into everyday agricultural practices.
