About
I recently organized a community-led, self-initiated Agroecology School Workshop Programme co-funded by the European Commission (Communities for Climate), as well as a conference on water, focusing on climate change and regional hydrological cycles influenced by vegetation cover, held in Vélez Blanco. I received training in Water Retention Landscapes at La Junquera and Tamera, and completed a Permaculture Design Course with Geoff Lawton. I am currently establishing a biodiverse food forest on 1.4 hectares, with 210 documented species of microorganisms, fungi, plants, mammals, invertebrates, birds, and insects. Additionally, I am informally researching both traditional and recent agricultural practices in the semi-arid mountain climate of the Comarca de Los Vélez.
