Kerubo Nyaguti is an agri-food systems and soil science expert based in Nakuru, Kenya, with over 12 years of experience designing and implementing regenerative agriculture, climate-smart, and digital agriculture programs across Eastern Africa. She currently serves as Regional Technical Expert at Bureau Veritas Group, where she supports the validation of climate finance projects across more than five East African countries, and as Lead Agroecologist at TROFAD, where her work with farmer cooperatives has increased farm potential by 160 percent and significantly improved soil testing adoption. She holds a Master's degree in Soil Science from the University of Eldoret, with research on agroecological biodiversity in smallholder farming using the FAO TAPE Tool. Her work combines field-based farmer advisory, soil mapping, value-chain structuring, and climate finance verification, with a strong focus on building resilient, profitable food systems for smallholder farmers.
