Joyce Mitiini is an agronomist at Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society in Nyeri, Kenya, where she supports smallholder coffee farmers with crop nutrition, pest and disease management, pruning, and practical production strategies. A graduate in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management from Masinde Muliro University, she combines field advisory work with her own farming projects and has contributed to increasing coffee production within the cooperative. Her work covers coffee leaf rust and coffee berry disease management, micronutrient programmes, drought response, and the management of improved varieties such as Ruiru 11. She is passionate about climate-smart and sustainable agriculture and regularly shares practical, farmer-focused coffee guidance.
