Innocent Okot is an agribusiness consultant and researcher based in Uganda, working with the Innovative Institute of Agriculture Business and Capacity Building (IABC) Consultancy Firm. With over five years of field experience, his work spans agribusiness skill development, entrepreneurship, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA), income generating activities, crop production, and food security and livelihood programmes. As a researcher, he has led teams of enumerators through baseline surveys and community-based data collection, applying methods such as focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and structured questionnaires, alongside data entry and analysis in SPSS. His research interests cover agriculture, food security and livelihoods, nutrition, education, and peacebuilding, with a focus on translating field evidence into practical support for rural communities.
