Getrude Tsuma is an accomplished agricultural expert with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Egerton University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Agriculture Studies from AICAT. Tsuma has gained extensive knowledge of farming operations through hands-on experience as an agricultural field officer and a 10-month internship in the Arava Desert. She is currently studying for an MSc in Ecology with a focus on Agroecology and Sustainability Science at Lanzhou University, which will help her expand her knowledge of sustainable agriculture techniques. In addition to field experience, Tsuma has served as a mentor to Wings to Fly and Elimu scholars through the Equity Group Foundation, fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders. She has also worked as an enumerator for the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, obtaining significant insights. Tsuma is committed to using her knowledge and experience to promote long-term agricultural development and sustainability.
