This project aims to strengthen the fight against food fraud and improve transparency in European food supply chains by establishing the European Food Fraud Community of Practice (EFF-CoP). It will create a long-term research and innovation ecosystem connecting food fraud scientists, regulators, industry actors (large and SMEs), the organic sector, and existing networks. The project will identify stakeholder needs and optimize information exchange through the EFF-HUB, an interactive online collaboration platform. It will deliver practical resources such as training materials, factsheets, case studies, and Good Practice Recommendations, supported by dynamic engagement activities including festivals, webinars, living labs, gamified training, podcasts, and outreach events. The initiative targets a community of over 5,000 members by the end of the project and will ensure long-term sustainability through a dedicated exploitation strategy and business plan, contributing to improved authenticity, traceability, and trust in food systems.
