Dr. Ahmad specializes in horticulture with a focus on floriculture, seed production, and value addition in ornamental crops. He holds a Ph.D. in Horticulture, with research on calcium treatments in gladiolus, and has over 12 years of academic and professional experience. Currently, he serves as an Additional Director for Advance Studies, Deputy Director of Farms, and Manager of Ornamental Horticulture Nurseries. He has supervised 30 MSc students and two Ph.D. scholars and completed two research projects, including aquaponics and tuberose production technology. Dr. Ahmad has published 35 peer-reviewed articles and is an active member of prestigious societies such as the Royal Horticultural Society (UK) and the American Society for Microbiology.
