Dr. Ioannis Kaimakamis is an agronomist with a Ph.D. in animal production from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and holds a master’s degree in agricultural economics. With family roots in primary production and commerce, he has assimilated practical experience from a young age, which drives him to develop comprehensive approaches to agribusiness. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading companies in the sector, contributing decisively to developing strategies that enhance business efficiency and growth. Combining scientific knowledge and market understanding, he has innovative solutions to livestock production enterprises. Additionally, he participates in academic and research programs, fostering synergies between research and practical application. Ioannis has published five scientific articles in international journals and presented over twenty papers at conferences. Today, as a consultant for a large company, he focuses on developing business activities and optimizing operations in the agri-food sector. At the same time, he continues to build his family business in beef production in Thessaly. Lastly, he is a member of the Agricultural Bodies Secretariat of New Democracy, emphasizing promoting research and innovation in the primary sector.
