About
I studied Crop Science at the Agricultural University of Athens and got my Ph.D. from the University of Warwick, UK, where I investigated how epigenetic mechanisms influence plant immunity in the Ntoukakis lab. In December 2023, I joined the Gallego lab at IBMCP in Valencia as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on ATP-dependent chromatin remodellers and their role in plant cell reprogramming. My work combines molecular biology, plant genetics, and advanced sequencing techniques. I am now particularly interested in the real-world impact of agricultural research and committed to sharing scientific knowledge from the lab with farmers, professionals, and the wider public.
