Davis Simiyu Masibo is an Environmentalist, climate advocate, and a believer in justice for both people and the planet. He is a Research Assistant at Egerton University with a strong focus on climate-smart agriculture and sustainable land use. He served as the Director of Research and Development at Watoto Go Green, where he led farmer training programs aimed at equipping small-scale potato, cassava, millet, and sorghum farmers with practical skills and technologies to boost production and productivity in the face of climate change. His work emphasizes adopting regenerative techniques such as agroforestry, conservation tillage, drought-resilient crop varieties, and organic soil enhancement. Davis has also contributed to impactful initiatives under NEMA, One Acre Fund, and Save the Elephants. As the founder of a youth-focused climate mentorship group and the visionary behind the Kenya Agroforestry and Climate Action Foundation, he is committed to empowering communities with knowledge and tools for resilience. He is also a beekeeping advocate, promoting pollinator conservation in the Mai Mahiu region in Kenya.
