My research interests span sustainable ruminant production, precision livestock farming, animal welfare, and livestock management. I am passionate about animal welfare, One Health, and food safety, and I focus on advancing sustainable and ethical practices that enhance productivity and resilience within the livestock industry. I have gained diverse professional experiences through internships and research positions. I was a Graduate Intern at Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, where I delivered lectures to National Diploma students and assisted in administrative tasks. At Real People Concept, I actively cared for cattle and goats, participated in silage production, and managed pastures. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, I was involved in forage management, daily care of goats, and sample collection for laboratory analysis. Additionally, I have experience at CHI FARMS LIMITED and Arise and Forward, where I carried out various management practices in the hatchery, feed mills, chicken breeding units, piggery, goat units, and feed formulation. I am committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in precision livestock farming and sustainable agriculture. I am eager to collaborate with researchers, educators, and industry stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address challenges in the livestock industry, ensuring food security and environmental sustainability. My vision is to promote sustainable livestock production systems that balance productivity with ethical and environmental considerations, fostering a healthier planet and improved animal welfare.
