About
Shaik Imran Hussain Choudhary, the founder of Prakheti Agrologics, is a young and passionate advocate for ecological conservation and sustainable agriculture. With a bachelor's degree in agriculture, he has dedicated his efforts to creating fruit forests, Miyawaki forests, and other ecosystem projects that prioritize functional design and native biodiversity. Imran firmly believes that ecosystem restoration and climate-resilient agriculture can only be achieved through sustainable technologies and economic incentives for local communities to build self-sufficient systems. He is currently working with the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation in Wayanad, helping to rebuild their Farmer Producer Company and collaborate with farmers to conserve and market native rice varieties. Imran's holistic approach blends scientific technologies, social considerations, and economic development to promote agrobiodiversity and ecological conservation. Additionally, he serves as a Youth Representative at the World Food Forum, amplifying the voices of Indian farmers in global food systems and policymaking. Imran is also an active member of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS), where he coordinates and incubates projects at the IAAS Asia-Pacific project team. In this role, he engages in education initiatives, business plan development, and coordinating regional efforts to support youth led solutions.
