Richárd Nagy is an expert in agro-geoinformatics, precision farming, and GIS-based sustainable agriculture solutions, with over 10 years of experience in EU and national R&D projects. He works as a self-employed precision agriculture consultant in Hungary, delivering geospatial data processing, prescription mapping, and the integration of sensor-based and satellite-driven technologies into farming operations, alongside his role as Research Associate at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, where he focuses on environmental monitoring, land cover mapping, and vegetation analysis. He developed the FieldDNA method, a remote sensing-based mapping system that predictively evaluates field performance, stress tolerance, and climate resilience rather than yield alone. In 2024 he obtained the AEDIH Advisor qualification, supporting digital transformation projects in the agri-food and environmental sectors, and his work consistently bridges scientific research with practical farming needs.
