About
Hi! I’m Renée, currently studying Resilient Farming & Food Systems at Wageningen University and Research. I have a background in sustainability and political science, but I found my true passion when I started diving into agriculture. Therefore ,I like to call myself a future regenerative farmer. My interests are organic farming, agroforestry, regenerative farming, biodynamic farming and permaculture.I enjoy analyzing farms from a system-level perspective, looking at it as an ecosystem. This I also did during a four-month research internship at La Junquera farm in Murcia, Spain. There, I researched Holistic Management and developed a practical grazing plan for the farm. This experience has taught me a lot about regenerative farming, and gave me inspiration for the future. On top of this, I am a passionate, positive and driven person, who loves being creative and solving problems. I also enjoy cooking and working with local and seasonal food and am always up for a challenge. On Wikifarmer, I’m excited to share my experiences and insights, aiming to inspire and support fellow farmers and gardeners in their sustainable farming journeys.
