Raquel Hernández holds a BSc in Chemistry and a MSc in Advanced Chemistry from the Universidad de Burgos. She received her PhD in Advanced Chemistry in 2024, working on molybdenum-catalysed direct one-pot transformations of nitro compounds and performed a doctoral stay in the group of Prof. E. Meggers at Phillips-Universität Marburg (Germany). She is currently working as postdoctoral researcher and project manager for the Polymers Research Group at Universidad de Burgos. Her main area of research is the design and development of novel one-pot synthetic methodologies of relevance in Organic Chemistry and transition metal catalysis. Her work has been published in scientific journals and presented at conferences. In addition, she has actively contributed to numerous national and EU-funded research projects, both as researcher and in coordination roles.
