Farid Chbeir is an agricultural engineering student at the American University of Beirut (AUB), specializing in sustainable agriculture, plant pathology, and integrated pest management. As the co-owner of Ghosta Dairy Farm, Farid is involved in farm administration, waste management, and business development, with a focus on finding cost-efficient alternatives for greenhouse systems. He has hands-on experience in biological control, molecular biology, and hydroponics, and has worked on projects incorporating composting and viticulture. Farid is also dedicated to agricultural development in his home village of Ghosta, where he advises on enhancing farming practices. Proficient in English, French, and Arabic, Farid is committed to advancing sustainable agricultural practices and exploring innovative solutions to improve farm productivity and environmental management.
