Emma Muthoni is a passionate animal scientist and agri-prenuer. Teaching farmers about correct animal production techniques and making profits from them is her ultimate career goal. She has an undergraduate degree in animal science from Egerton University and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Animal Nutrition. Over the years, she has worked with dairy farmers as a consultant on proper feeding, breeding, young stock management, and housing. She is a firm advocate that happy animals equals happy farmers. Currently, she is working with pastoralists in the arid and semi-arid parts of Kenya on embracing modern breeds of animals, supplementary feeding, collective marketing, and rangeland management. During her leisure time she loves reading and gong for nature walks.
