Cheshta Rawat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She has developed skills in farm management and sustainable agricultural practices through her work at Kalasan Nursery Farm, Himachal Pradesh, since childhood. Her experience includes soil management, drip irrigation, and fertilization techniques for blueberry cultivation and Apple plantations. She has also contributed to the Ultra High-Density Apple Plantation Project. As a farm guide, Cheshta has hosted international volunteers and managed seasonal organic produce sales. In addition, she led AAVYA, an animal welfare initiative at Miranda House, organizing sterilization, feeding drives, and rescuing over 150 animals. Raised in the Himalayas, Cheshta is passionate about environmental conservation, organic farming, and innovative waste management. She remains committed to further learning and has participated in national workshops on composting and sustainability.
