About
I am a passionate animal scientist interested in animal nutrition, welfare, greenhouse gas mitigation, and food security. I graduated with a first class in Animal Science from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. My professional and hands-on research experience through my role as a research assistant at both the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta and Aquatec College of Agriculture and Technology, my internship with Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, and my job as the Farm manager at AOJ Farms strength my expertise and understanding of the field. I am currently researching pellet production from Agro-industrial by-products and forage legumes and its utilization by dairy cattle. I have a strong interest in exploring alternative feed sources in animal nutrition, utilizing feed additives to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, heat stress abatement strategies in ruminants, and monitoring feeding behavior and welfare to enhance performance. My career goal is to become an innovative researcher focusing on minimizing food insecurity and maximizing the sustainability of the agricultural sector globally. I am eager to learn new skills and technology that will enhance my contribution to the field of animal science. I am open to collaboration with researchers with similar research interests.
