Wikifarmer is a global platform with the mission of empowering and educating farmers worldwide while connecting them with the open market to sell their products at fair prices. FAO has characterized our online Library as “the Wikipedia of farming,” thanks to the free, rich, and practical content it provides that is already available in 15 languages. The articles are created by our editorial team of experts (agronomists) as well as scientists, farmers, and students across the globe. To make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible, Wikifarmer aims to constantly translate its content into all 16 languages available on the site.

To succeed that and have the highest possible quality, we are looking for a native speaker of:

  • French
  • Arabic
  • Turkish
  • Italian
  • German
  • Chinese
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Russian
  • Hindi
  • Vietnamese
  • Indonesian
  • Korean
  • Dutch
  • Swahili

These persons should also have an excellent knowledge of the English language (writing) and basic agricultural terminology (graduates of agricultural specialization or biology).

The possibility of providing us with a legitimate-legal invoice for the services provided will be considered an asset.

For more information regarding the content for translation, the deadlines, and the remuneration, please content Stella Provelengiou (the Senior Content Manager of Wikifarmer) at [email protected].
