Partnership between Wikifarmer and Universal Versatile Society

Wikifarmer is always interested in building partnerships with organizations, universities, institutions, and projects worldwide. Our main goal is to democratize agriculture; we believe networking can help us achieve this. Wikifarmer and Universal Versatile Society are working together to help the agricultural sector.

Universal Versatile Society (UVS) is a non-political, non-communal & non-governmental voluntary social organization. It is founded by a group of socially concerned and committed individuals in the year 2005 and registered under Societies Registration Act-XXI of 1860. Since its inception, UVS is actively engaged in Environment, Education, Health, and Women Empowerment thematic areas through people’s participation in Washim district, Maharashtra. The work of the organization is accompanied by sound fieldwork, research, and monitoring of each activity that were undertaken. With the collection of appropriate data, the organization puts an idea before the people through awareness drives.
The organization has successfully established several initiatives across the Washim District in Maharashtra. Being enthusiastic and innovative, the building block of the organization is a tiny little principle as “Sustainable livelihood”, which has anchored all the activities.
