In June, in 2007 our company with the label ‘’Melostagma’’ started operating in Skalokhori village of Lesvos island, in Greece. This company belongs to Kamperos John’s family, who has more than 25 years of experience in beekeeping, having knowledge about honey quality, it’s properties and also for a variety of other products produced by bees. Our unit is vertically integrated for production and standardization of honey and other bee products like propolis, pollen, royal jelly etc. Our facilities are certificated be ISO:22000 which means that all the European certifications and hygiene rules are observed for ‘’Melostagma’’.
QUALITY DEVELOPMENT
• All construction materials of the Laboratory are approved; there is full automation and production flow. Αll honey processing machines are completely stainless steel with CE certification
• The jars are sterilized and there is a cooling chamber for the biological control of the honeycomb that grows in the hives.
• The honey produced by our beehives is from flowers and wildflowers from the mountains of Lesvos where there is a plethora of aromatic plants that bloom successively, so our honey has a characteristic taste, color and aroma
