Wikifarmer is always interested in building partnerships with organizations, universities, institutions, and projects worldwide. Our main goal is to democratize agriculture; we believe networking can help us achieve this. Wikifarmer and TP Organics are working together to promote sustainable agriculture.
TP Organics is a European Technology Platform (ETP) officially recognized by the European Commission, uniting companies, research institutes, and farmers’, consumers’, and civil society organisations active in the organic value chain from production, input, and supply to food processing, marketing, and consumption. As an ETP, TP Organics develops research and innovation agendas and roadmaps for research action at the EU and national levels. R&I is crucial for the development of the organic sector and the design of more sustainable food systems. That is why TP Organics advocates for more research funding benefiting organic and agroecological approaches that contribute to sustainable food and farming systems. Next to identifying the research needs of the organic and agroecological sector and relaying research priorities to policymakers at European and national level, TP Organics promotes research participation, informing its members about funding opportunities for R&I and enhancing knowledge exchange between the organic actors.
