Wikifarmer is always interested in building partnerships with organizations, universities, institutions, and projects worldwide. Our main goal is to democratize agriculture; we believe networking can help us achieve this. Wikifarmer and Organic Farm Knowledge are working together to promote organic agriculture.
The Organic Farm Knowledge online platform provides access to a wide range of tools and resources about organic farming. The platform promotes the exchange of knowledge among farmers, farm advisers, and scientists, with the aim of increasing the productivity, quality, and sustainability of organic farming across Europe. The core of the Organic Farm Knowledge platform is the toolbox, which provides access to the ‘tools’ – ranging from practice abstracts, leaflets, videos, websites, etc. The tools were selected by or created in various projects and from several institutions. The platform was originally set up in the frame of two Horizon 2020 projects, OK-Net Arable and OK-Net EcoFeed. It is now governed by an executive and editorial board, and the core partners include the International Centre for Research in Organic Food Systems (ICROFS), IFOAM Organics Europe and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL.
