Verónica Arcas-Pilz is a postdoctoral researcher in the institute of environmental sciences and technology in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB). She is an international doctor in environmental sciences and technology since 2022, focusing on the assessment and decrease of environmental impacts associated to urban agriculture, especially regarding to fertilization strategies in soilless cultivation. She is currently working as part of the research group Sostenipra, on topics related to urban agriculture, LCA and nutrient recovery strategies for urban agriculture. Since 2020 she is also a co-founder and president of the “spin-off” business Tectum Garden based in Barcelona.
