Tennyson is a multi-award-winning undergraduate scholar at Earth University in Costa Rica. He is studying agricultural science and has hands-on experience in crop and soil nutrition and crop protection. Tennyson is also a short-term scholar at the University of Florida, where he is doing research in integrated nematode management. He also holds a diploma in land administration from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Malawi. His passion for crop protection has made him come up with an innovation in bio-pesticides and fertilizer from invasive plants, an innovation that has made him win multiple awards like the Wege Prize, Net Impact, End Poverty Innovation Challenge, and Resolution Project Fellowship.
