Sarkal Jyakhwa
MSc. Plant breeding
I am Sarkal Jyakhwa, from Nepal. I graduated from an Erasmus mundus master program in plant breeding in June 2022. I studied my first year in France and second year in Finland. Currently, I am looking for a PhD role preferably in plant breeding. My research interest includes exploiting genetic diversity, studying the genotype*environment interaction and biotic and abiotic resistance in crops. I have experience in molecular biology, phytopathology, crop production, data analysis and agribusiness.
I completed my bachelor's in agriculture in 2017 from Nepal. Regarding my hobbies, I like exploring new places and playing chess. I also help international students by reviewing their application documents and giving instructions to those who are willing to apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
