Lin Walker
Assistant Professor & Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University
Dr. Lin Walker is the assistant professor and extension specialist in applied microbiology in Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University. Her research and extension focus is improving microbial food safety of poultry and egg products in preharvest and postharvest. She is also studying Cochlosoma anatis, one of the major protozoan parasites in turkeys. Dr. Walker earned her Ph.D. degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before joining NC State, Dr. Walker was the team lead of Pathogen Detection in the Department of Research and Development at Neogen Corporation.
