Kasun Hettige is a passionate Research Scientist at the National Institute of Post-harvest Management in Sri Lanka. He holds a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Kasun specializes in various aspects of food science and technology. His areas of expertise include new product development, food processing, food microbiology, fermentation, and post-harvest technology. Kasun actively engages in training and consulting farmers and entrepreneurs in the food industry. He also actively contributes his knowledge to impactful national development projects collaborating with relevant institutions. With a focus on improving food quality and safety, his work contributes to enhancing the local food industry and supporting farmers and entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
