Dr. Aleksandra Radanović
Molecular biologist
Dr. Aleksandra Radanović (née Dimitrijević) is a molecular biologist working in improving crops by using modern biotechnological tools. After obtaining her master’s degree at the Faculty of Sciences University of Novi Sad, she defended her PhD thesis at the Faculty of Agriculture University of Belgrade. Aleksandra works at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia in the Laboratory for Biotechnology. Her work involves the use of molecular markers and in vitro techniques to speed up the process of crop breeding, as well as the exploitation of different phenotyping tools for the association of gene-trait relations. Aleksandra is a member of the RECROP COST Action consortium.
