Open call for Agritech use cases for Digital Transformation for Agriculture || Invitation to GFAR – APAARI multi stake holder consultation

Expected submission date: before 20^th November 2022

The consultation workshop aims to

1)     Showcase the results of the farmer-centric survey conducted to assess opportunities and challenges encountered by farmers and farmer producers organizations in the adoption of digital technologies, especially for smallholder farmers in the Asia Pacific region.

2)     Assessing the opportunities for leveraging digital technologies and  show case the sustainable best practices adopted in the country to address the priority issues in agriculture value chain in the Asia Region

3)    Provide a platform for the agribusiness, agri start-ups, technology organizations, Academia and Research institutions to engage in a collaborative framework.

4)  Multi-disciplinary working groups shall be formed around the broad thematic areas, requiring focused effort to identify solutions based on emerging digital technologies for intelligent crop planning, smart farming, addressing challenges in post-harvest value chain operations and recommending technological solutions to improve the income of farmers and improve farm productivity.
